Members
The members of the Financial Stability Council (FSC) contribute their expertise to recognize risks to financial stability at an early stage and to take the appropriate and efficient measures to avoid the build-up of such risks. The FSC is composed of representatives from the Ministry of General Government Affairs and Finance (MPF) and the FMA. Members of the FSC act independently within the framework of their legal mandate. One of the members of the MPF acts as a chairman of the FSC. Members and their deputies are nominated by the respective institutions and are appointed for a term of 4 years. They may be reappointed.
